Gameplay

Sometimes a game developer does not focus on the game’s strengths. The developer tries too hard to do what other games are doing. A feature should add to the game, not be thrown in just because a top seller also had it. This game can not make up its mind if it wants to be an old school shooter or Call of Duty. The physics engine is the first thing that comes to mind. The slightest bump into a table or chair will send it flying. Either I have super strength or the game takes place on the moon, I am not sure. All I know is when I walk by a table it just shoots across the room.

On the surface that game wants to be Painkiller meets Call of Duty. It sounds like a winner but without any real focus, the game kind of forgets itself. The weapons have zero recoil and just a bit of changes in rate of fire. If your aim is true you can get through the whole game with a submachine gun taking out enemies halfway across a level.

The only unique thing about the game is the bullet shield that you can put up to catch bullets. If that was not cool enough, you now can run around and kill people with the bullets trapped in the force field around you. It is the most well implemented feature of the game.

Overall, the map layouts and puzzles are not too bad. The layout at least changes often and gives you ample places to have major battles. With the help of a compass and an overview map, all the objectives are easily found.
