Ubersoldier is a first person shooter, which involves you, a taken from the grave war hero, killing Nazis. According to the developer the games 16 levels will take about 15 hours to complete. The missions range from a rendezvous with your captain, to helping your team mow down a field of Nazis.

The gameplay is very unique. It’s sort of Half-Life 2 meets Call of Duty, with the added bonus of Counter-Strike's crosshair! It’s a more fast-paced game than you will find with any WWII genre, which is what makes it interesting. Using the traditional WWII guns that most of your war game veterans are used to. The look is where the similarities end. The guns fire without adding any recoil or changes to your movement. This keeps the gameplay focused on fast action instead of the duck and cover routine of most WWII releases. And of course, it can't be a WWII game without your fully automatic stationary machine gun. Nothing feels better than spraying down a field of Nazi riflemen coming at you full speed.

The most unique feature of the game is the Bullet Shield. The Bullet Shield when activated acts a force field trapping all bullets in the outside of it. Even better, the bullets that get trapped can be used to kill enemies also. Just simply run through your enemy, and the bullets do the job. The bullet shield doesn’t last forever however. It’s on a timer, and the only way to refill your shield is by accumulating 3-4 headshots in a relatively short period of time. Some might think getting headshots seems easy, but it's not. Most targets like to bob and weave, and normally keep their heads down, so it’s more challenging than it sounds. The game at times can be difficult but at least each target that you kill drops a good amount of health and ammunition.

The game's MSRP is $29.99 for one reason: There is no multiplayer.I’m sure this might turn some people off, as it did me before I actually played it. However, I can assure you, it’s a very fun game, multiplayer or not. The game will keep you occupied for quite a long time trying to figure out the puzzles that litter the gameplay.
