If the last zelda game for GC was wind waker, it didn't suck. Wind waker was a GREAT game imo. Graphics were different and i learned to enjoy them after a while. My only complain about it was the number of times you needed to play those STUPID songs, now that got annoying as hell.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to this game too. I have Nintendo DS and it's honestly the best system i've owned in years. I currently have Mario Kart DS(amazing online), Castlevania, and i'm getting Metroid Prime Hunters tomorrow. This new Zelda looks really cool with all the touch screen features, and i'm also eagerly awaiting the New Super Mario Bros in May.
I would recommend getting a DS Lite when they come out in the US.
Honestly I think the Wind Waker graphical style was pretty cool, the game just wasn't that great with the tedious sailing, don't blame the graphics :(
Windwaker did not suck at all. Ocirena of Time was also a good game.
Windwaker easy, only flaw, the graphics were cool, I think that is one of the main reasons people did not like the game becuase the first one for N64 looked better then that did @ times.
ocarina of time NEVER looked better than wind waker, which looked fantastic. if your dislike of cell shaded graphics relates to realism, think very carefully about the state of your mental health - a game depicting a kid sailing solo around an archipelago killing fantastical monsters, at times travelling under the sea in a talking boat, WAS TOO CARTOONY? get a grip.
only thing wrong with the wind waker was how easy it was ;x hopefully, this ds game will be a touch more challenging.

I can honestly say Zelda Windwaker was a fantastic game up and down.
