Does anyone have any [b]concrete[/b] information about the release of Halo 3? Is there any concrete info yet?
I've heard November of this year but I would think that if it was that close there would be some screenshots by now. Perhaps Bungie is keeping the project under wraps?
Also, is it only coming out for the 360 or will there be an original XBOX version too?

That wont happen. Xbox360 already made the mistake of bringing the xbox360 out to early... people would rather play haloII. Its most lickley going to be the same but different guns and maps

#9 is a genius. good marketing strategy, release a game that sold over $125 MILLION in the first day, but scrap a sequel. i could just imagine that meeting. only rumors about halo 3 are that it wont come out this year

now halo3 may not exist but bungie is working on a project named "froerunner" which may be linked in someway to halo, but as far as anyone knows there is no halo 3.

#21 is right. i work at EB Games and i get all of this info all the time.
There is no way Microsoft could put out the xb 360 without having a Halo title.
secondly: # 20 have fun playing with those boomerang controllers that ur gonna spend an extra $150 to play with on a system that has the same graphics as the 360 and no online service to compete with Xbox Live.
and more than likely, like with MGS2, i'm sure there will be MGS4 released at some point on the 360.
When Kojima realizes he can make his game easier on the 360 than the PS3, then he'll take the project on and make more money.
and i can't wait for Gears of War on the 360, the game looks insane on the new Unreal Engine 3 :D

so its not called halo 3 but it is a new halo title for the 360.. whats the difference? could be a prequel or just the next one in the series doesnt need to be called #3.
