Prodod is a third party Day of Defeat: Source mod that builds on the foundation set down by DOD:S. Various key values from DOD:S have been changed to better suit the competitive community. Examples of such changes are gun accuracy, damage, grenade throw distance, bullet puff size, class equipment, and shot distribution.

only difference that this and cspromod will have is that pro mod will easily be the most played mod ever

wow I installed it and I DIDNT EVEN KNOW I NEED DOD SOURCE TO PLAY IT.

At least say something sheesh.

PLus it should be free, its part of the HL2 engine.

#17 Yes, you should need DoD:S to play this. This is a pro-mod, just like CPM for Quake3.

you people that complain about needing dod:s are stupid.

prodod needs dod:s files to play... you dont get dod:s files just by owning HL2.

by making you need dod:S to play, they are also making it LEGAL. CS promod is supposedly not requiring cs:S and I was talking to one of the devs of DOD promod at WSVG and he said that what cs promod is doing is technically illegal(probably something to do with copyright infrigement or something). At least that's what I understood from our conversation

i tried dod:s when it was free for a week and it was fun :D

This Pro-DoD makes you, if you don't have it already, want to buy DoD: Source. I was never a fan of DoD: Source, but when I played this last night, I was blown away!
